{"id":46733,"date":"2014-12-11T20:53:06","date_gmt":"2014-12-11T20:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wcsawater.com\/?p=46733"},"modified":"2025-05-21T15:18:07","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T19:18:07","slug":"wcsa-launches-redesigned-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wcsawater.com\/index.php\/2014\/12\/11\/wcsa-launches-redesigned-website\/","title":{"rendered":"WCSA Launches Redesigned Website"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ABINGDON, Va. \u2013 The Washington County Service Authority (WCSA) recently unveiled an interactive, user-friendly website offering improved navigation and functionality.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed to provide easy access across mobile and desktop devices, the redesigned site,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsawater.com\/\">www.wcsawater.com<\/a>, provides a streamlined platform where customers can easily access important WCSA information and resources.Visitors can quickly pay bills online through the Pay Your Bill feature, as well as locate emergency numbers and important forms pertaining to their water and wastewater services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt WCSA, we strive to provide our customers with the highest-quality service possible, and our new website is another example of our efforts to meet their needs,\u201d says WCSA General Manager Robbie Cornett. \u201cOur website offers an additional access point and online resource for customers. Online visitors will find the information they need to be clearly presented and easily located, ensuring a much more engaging experience for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional features on the site include drop-down menus with access to important WCSA policies, reports, procedures and guidelines. Visitors also can learn about WCSA operations, treatment processes and capital projects.<br><br><strong>More About WCSA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WCSA serves approximately 21,000 water connections and approximately 2,300 wastewater connections in Washington County, Virginia, and surrounding areas. The water system consists of approximately 900 miles of waterline, a new 12-million-gallon-per-day surface water treatment plant, a 2.5-million-gallon-per-day membrane filtration plant, two springs, one well, 26 pump stations and 20 water storage tanks. The wastewater system consists of approximately 70 miles of wastewater collection lines, 26 lift stations and two wastewater treatment plants.
