To commemorate the start of the Lee Highway Corridor Sewer Expansion Project, WCSA will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, April 2, at 2 p.m. The ceremony will take place in lot 13 of the Oak Park Center for Business and Industry, located off Lee Highway between Exits 10 and 13.
The Lee Highway Corridor Sewer Expansion Project is a multi-phase project that began in 2012 when the Washington County Board of Supervisors, Washington County Industrial Development Authority and WCSA boards determined to bring much-needed sewer treatment capacity to the west-central portion of Washington County.
The project is funded by USDA Rural Development, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Washington County and WCSA.
