Ongoing Projects
The Lee Highway Corridor Sewer Improvements Project is a multi-phase project that will bring public sewer service to the Lee Highway corridor between Oak Park Drive and Exit 10. The project is funded by USDA Rural Development, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Washington County and WCSA, and was designed by Thompson & Litton.
This project is ongoing and should be completed by the end of August 2025. There will be a further upgrade to the Exit 13 Spring Creek Pumps Station to accommodate additional flows, as well as an inflow and infiltration project to identify where water could be entering the sewer system, causing sewer capacity issues.
